Here we go! My first review is of the beautiful Uberrime Splendid Medium. I’d like to apologize in advance. I’m still trying to figure out the whole picture thing….

Anyways! Let’s get started. I purchased my beautiful Uberrime Splendid from here at Peepshow toys! I went with my favorite color, Pear Green and I decided to go for the medium size. Unfortunately, I don’t think Peepshow toys has any of the green left in stock. I’m sure you can always try and order one directly from Uberrime though for a little extra cost.

Sizing

Honestly, when I looked at the dimensions ( Maximum diameter: 1.67”; Average shaft diameter: 1.6”; Total length: 6”; Usable length: 5.5” according to the information listed for the toy) I didn’t know exactly what that would be like. Rookie mistake right?

Luckily I have found that with a bit of warm up using this toy is not too big for me! Though the texture definitely takes some getting used to.

Texture/Appearance

In the above picture you can see the veins running throughout the toy as well as the pronounced coronal ridge. Well, you can kinda see it. Like I said, my photography leaves a bit to be desired.

If you could see it up close and personal, and feel it, you would notice pronounced veins. If you’re anything like me you might be wondering if you can even feel those in side of you. The answer is yes, yes you can.

It feels ridgy but not in a hard and uncomfortable way for me. It is a completely different sensation than what I am used to with my Lelo Elise 2. I could see how this might feel odd if you’re used to smooth textured toys but, if you want to try a more realistic texture or you already know that you like veiny toys, this would probably work for you.

You can also really feel the coronal ridge of the toy. It seems to catch just right on the g-spot though it took me a couple tries to get the angle right. Honestly, this being my first realistic or semi-realistic dildo, using the toy took about 3 tries before I really got it to work for me.

The silicone of the toy is definitely draggy and does require a bit of lube (personally I’m a fan of Sliquid’s Sassy ) Remember, use water based lube with silicone toys or you’ll ruin your new plaything.

The silicone picks up dust and hair super quickly so I’ve had to very carefully wash it before and after use.

The duel-density component leaves it with a semi-firm exterior and a more firm interior. It is a little floppy but not super soft or squishy. It feels fairly firm when thrusting.

Playtime

I mentioned earlier that it took me several tries to make the toy work for me. It really did. I can attribute that to a few factors.

Firstly, it is a new kind of toy for me: the realistic dildo. The head is pronounced and the veins are prominent. I was surprised how much you can feel those. A good surprised but still surprised.

Secondly, the size. I wasn’t too careful with reading the dimensions of the toy and getting a realistic picture. Now, I know I can enjoy this toy with warm-up but still, it does take warm-up.

(Would I trade it for the smaller size? Maybe. As a newbie when it comes to toys I am not sure. Would I say that this is a huge toy? No. Don’t worry. I wouldn’t say that this is too big to be comfortable. )

Thirdly, it is hard for me to get into a really good play-time mindset. With a new toy I felt a bit of anxiety so it took me a couple sessions of me time to get into it.

All that being said though, I do enjoy my time with my new toy. It wraps around my pubic bone and the coronal ridge stimulates my g-spot nicely. The veins really make me feel as though it’s an excited lover and not just a piece of (beautiful) poured silicone. It’s size is nice and filling.

So do I like it?

Overall, I do! I really do. It’s beautifully made (hand-poured and marbled), it’s a lovely filling size, it’s textured nicely, and it’s dual-density leaves it soft-yet-firm. It also comes in three sizes so if you have a strong size preference you can be happy.

I have a feeling this will be a well-loved part of my toy chest for a long time.

(I purchased this toy with my own money and was not compensated in any way for this review. All opinions stated are my own and unbiased.)
