**Special Note: the le Wand “Feel My Power” version shown below is no longer for sale. However, the current “Feel My Power” which is a different design, seems to have the same specs as my version. You can purchase here. **
So this is the first review I have written in…months. I’m going to be completely honest, times are crazy. However, I have been recently inspired by my fellow bloggers to start writing again!
Let’s talk about the le Wand “Feel My Power”. It’ s been in my toychest for about 4 months. I know…it’s been a while. I was just glad I still had all the packaging. Speaking of the packaging…it’s beautiful. This post will have way more pictures then normal for me. I had to take pictures of every step of unboxing. Trust me, there were quite a few steps too.
the Details:
Let’s talk about the specifications of the le Wand before we get to all the pretty pictures. Yes, I have to include the specifications from the manufacturer so you can compare it to other toys. According to le Wand’s website this toy weighs about 3.14 lbs. So yeah, it’s definitely not a light or compact toy! I really wouldn’t pack it if I was traveling light.
The head is made of body safe silicone and is splashproof with a circumference of 7.69 inches. The body is made of ABS plastic. There are a whooping 10 speeds and 20 vibration patterns with a max battery life of 3 hours. Whew…that’s not bad is it?
To top it all off: this wand is cordless. (Unlike my beloved Hitachi) Which for me is a revelation.
Let’s take a look:
So you pull off the outside sleeve and here you get your first image of the product. There is some information written on the side in a few different languages but basically it’s just the box top.
(Yes, I have the older version of the “Feel My Power” by le Wand that is sold out however, I have examined the new Special Edition and they seem to be incredibly similar. They weigh the same, have the same dimensions and the same battery life.)
Like I said earlier, there are a lot of steps to this unboxing. After pulling off the top of your box you get to see the wand itself. Nestled in a layer of plastic so it doesn’t move about.
There the le Wand is in all her glory! I have to say, I think the design is pretty killer. It was done by Ashley Lucashevsky and if you want to read more about it you can go here!
Moving on, after carefully removing the layer containing my precious new toy I found this!
Underneath that, there is the travel case and charger layer. This product comes with an adaptable charger. Meaning, that the charging prongs can be changed out with any of the other options included. So, have no fear if you’re not using the American power option included!
Let’s move on to the travel case, user manual, and the last layer which has some goodies!
I have to say, I love the travel case. It makes it super easy after I clean my toy to make sure no dust or dog hair gets on it. I love my dog but his fur gets absolutely everywhere..
Finally, after all that there is what I call the goodies. I’m not gonna lie. I can’t remember if this layer comes on top of the others but, hey, I am sure it’s close.
So, if you’re still with me: thanks! It is quite the unboxing!
But How Does It Compare?
Okay, so here we are at the part where I tell you how I like it. The truth is, I really like it. Like, really, really, like it. It has become a big player in my self-love game.
Granted, it’s not all sunshine and roses. The vibrations tend to get less “rumbely” and feel more shallow as the intensity goes up. Kind of the opposite of the Hitachi. This, I don’t like. I love having that deep rumbling sensation. So, I just keep it on the first few levels which are powerful enough to really do it for me.
On it’s own or play together?
I do couple this wand occasionally with an internal toy and I don’t feel bad about using it directly on my body because of the body safe silicone which I can disinfect and clean. Partner sex is great with this toy as well!
Battery life:
I love the battery life. It’s fantastic. It really does last hours and hours on the lower settings. (Not that I really need it to!) I just have to charge it every couple of play sessions. Which for me is great because normally I forget to charge it right after cleaning. I just want to clean it, lay down, and enjoy the endorphins.
The wand is a bit heavy. At over 3lbs it does get kinda tiresome if you’re going for multiple rounds. Then again, I kinda feel like I can take the good with the bad for this toy.
Overall:
I really enjoy the le Wand. Has it replaced my beloved Hitachi in my heart? No. But, it has found a place in my collection. All-in-all, if you are looking for a wand that has variation of intensity and vibration patterns, has a head with body safe silicone, and is pretty to look at: the le Wand is a great option.
Score: 8/10
